Joel has a strong belief that architecture should improve our built environment, and has a passion for finding unique yet grounded solutions in design. He has advanced a diverse knowledge in architecture and development working previously in Canada, United States, the Netherlands, and South Korea. Joel’s ability to think about the big picture while keeping every project grounded is invaluable to the Shugarman Architecture + Design team.
